I agree. The worst thing possible is human inertia, including inertia of motion toward hackneyed "new" ideas.
 
Comfort is a plague. It means low fear, but also lots of FOMO. If you are satisfied, you no longer have anything to strive for. Same problem as with Communism, a type of entropy.

If you think there's any such thing as an illegal drug in the U.S. you are naive at best. If you think the classification of drugs on the federal level has any correlation to their danger to the individual and/or society, you're not naive, you're delusional and an ideologue. Not one cell of any federal govt employee including biden has any non-zero positive interest in doing anything but increasing the supply of illicit (eh?) drugs. Joe might as well be swallowing condoms filled with meth himself. I know a thing or three about drugs....and guns. As if the govt wanted to curb gun violence - they want the exact opposite. Another set of pseudo-laws created by agencies (ATF) that last I read, had zero power to legislate. Besides, there's no issue with shooting non-threatening people dead, that's not even illegal. Just ask Alec Baldwin, who will never spend 40 days incarcerated. I doubt he'll go to trial. The armorer got the max, though, but she was only guilty of the same thing you and I are guilty of...not being part of the elite, the sole crime in the U.S. What the average American "knows" about drugs is so counter to science it is laughable. If anyone is concerned about drugs in the U.S. they'd make alcohol illegal immediately. Anyone pointing a finger at "drug abusers" who drinks? Zero self-awareness. Hell, the most addictive drug pushed on U.S. citizens is sugar. Try and argue against the lethality of booze, a drug so dangerous you can die just getting clean. And illicit drugs? Joe Biden himself takes more meth than an Arkansas trailer park. The entire park. Not that I use drugs or own guns. I don't believe in either. Especially guns, there's no need to own a gun, so I don't. What I do own...are many..."fishing poles".
