Watership Down

i read that book in like 7th grade... and had strange dreams about talking bunnies the entire time.

The cartoon movie of it....that's creepy. Bloody. It scared me when I was little.
 
My aunt gave the book to me for my tenth birthday.

It took me several chapters to really get into it, but once I did I fell in love.

Richard Adams wrote two other books that are far superior to Watership Down -- Shardik and Maia

Co-incidently, I just started re-reading Maia today, and was bemoaning my lost copy of Shardik -- I'd really like to re-read that one.
