Several years ago, I flew into and out of llilissat in Greenland. This is a very small town in the Northwest part of Greenland. (You can pull it up on google Earth to see where it is.) The draw here is the big bay where a lot of the glaciers end up sliding into the ocean and breaking up into large & small icebergs, like this one. When I departed, I asked the controllers if I could fly around the bay for a while, (for sightseeing and to take pictures). The bay is chock full of icebergs of all different sizes & shapes. I got a lot of pictures of some really amazing looking icebergs.
