Hi all, I am a 31 year old, white, hetero male that finally decided to head back to school. (if you can't figure out what i'm studying from my handle... tsk!tsk! ;-) ) My studies make it hard to find anything other than young co-eds to socialize with, which is DEFINITELY not a bad thing, but unfortunately for me, they get spooked at the thought of an older man! Are there any ladies out there willing to quench my thirst?

Not Giving up!

I am not one to give up on anything once I decide to do it, so I am going to bump this up myself. In order to justify it, I'll include a little bit more information about myself ;-)

I am a 31 year old wanna be beach bum, who finally figured out what he wanted to do in life, so I decided to head back to school in Mississippi to get my degree in Architecture. Summers and breaks I can be found in back in Nashville though. I tend to live life in the laid back lane, even though I just spent the last three years working my tail off at an architectural firm in Nashville and work part time for one while i'm in school. I am looking for someone with whom to share this adventure called life. I enjoy the beach, driving along country roads and stopping to read all of the historical markers, living life by my own set of rules (I only have one life, so I m going to enjoy every bit of it! If things stop being fun, it s time to figure out what is dampening the spirts and change it!) I enjoy art, animals, reading, movies, and MUSIC! I am a music nut, enjoying all types of music from rap to rock, country to classical, blues to techno, and everything else in between. If it's got a good beat, and doesn't grate on my nerves, I like it! I enjoy wood-working and remodeling houses, (Sold my house to come to school, but you should have seen the wood floors I laid down as well as the rework of the kitchen! ) I enjoy a lot of other things as well, but you'll just have to get in touch with me to find out! So drop me a line!

And to give a better feel for what I am looking for,
Jimmy Buffett said it best: I m looking for a smart woman, In a real short skirt. A smart woman, Who knows how to flirt. A smart woman, With a mind of her own. A smart woman, Who'll take me home! And if you know the rest of the tune, bonus brownie points! But more seriously, I am looking for someone with whom to share this adventure called life. I want a woman who is self assured and not needing to be validated every 5 seconds on just how smart, funny, pretty, successful, (insert adjective here). Someone that understands that yes, someone truly can be thinking about nothing! I need someone that is capable of carrying on conversations about anything and everything, who understands the difference between discussions and arguments. Someone who is perfectly at ease at the lake cabin, or the beach house, yet is capable of fitting in just fine at the country club. Someone who enjoys going to the theatre and dinner just as much as ordering pizza and curling up to watch a movie! Someone who is willing to enjoy life, can roll with the punches, and views problems as opportunities! I won't deny that looks don't matter, so i'll let you know my preferences. I am attracted to brunettes and redheads, with auburn hair being at the top of the list. I prefer women that are slim / petite, but hate the anorexic look, it's better to be healthy than sickly. Looks are good, but personality is a must! I MUST find a friend first, for beauty fades, but personality lasts forever. If I still seem interesting, Let me know!

As an addendum to the above, I am in the process of putting together my first story to post, I'll drop a line here to let peole know when it's posted, (and give me an excuse to bump myself up again :p )

Attached is a bad pic of me, taken at 2 a.m.. a bit frazzled, but hey, I'm still not someone you'd want to knaw your arm off to escape from the next morning!
EDIT: But there are better pics further down the thread... ;)

98 looks, 14 dl's no replies?

A caveat, even if you aren't in the neighborhood, I still am open to chats, e-mails, PM's from other parts of the globe. I love to travel, and don't mind having an excuse to bump one locale up on the list of places to visit! :D

So, BUMP this thread, and let's get a reply! I don't bite!, (well, I have been know to nibble a little  )

close enough....

I'm about five hours north-east. I love the crescent city, and can make it there on a free weekend, but those are few and far between with the course load I have <sigh>

Traveling...

Ahh, 60 hour work weeks, gotta love em. This has been a fun-filled spring break, if you can call the above work a break. I'll be traveling and incommunicado until Sunday, gotta head back to campus form Nashville, via eastern Alabama, to see mom.

A few additional thoughts to pique the ladies interest whilst i'm travelling: ;)

I am a romantic at heart, with the soul of the fictional gentleman pirate, just born a few hundred years too late.

I approach life with passion, yet have learned (been forced?) to keep a subdued front up for outward appearances. scratch the surface, and you might be surprised.

I have been classified by my friends as Feline Sapiens many times over the years, still not sure exactly what is meant by the remark, but considering my affinity for cats, and knowing them and their personalities, I'll take it as a compliment.

I am an extreemely tactile person, with marvelous fingers that I use to play the most precious and delicate instument in the world, the female body.

I am also a tease, which gets me threats of breaking those aforementioned fingers, but there is always the caveat, "but then you couldn't use them on me. damn!" (references available upon request :D )

I put great pride in pleasing my lady, both in public and private. A rose left on the desk at work or school for no other reason than to say, "I was thinking of you", a candlelit dinner, with soft music and a promise of a sensual massage is a typical end to a stressful week. Other details require questions. ;)

I am an artist, skilled in the use of graphite, charcoal, and ink. Not to mention feathers, fur mittens, and oils (of the massage variety)

I am like a moth to the flame when it comes to the fiery beauty and passion that is a redheaded woman. Yes, that fire has burned me, (especially recently) yet still I am addicted and confident in my abilities to reign in the savage heart yet not tame it.

I love to learn, and look at life as an adventure to be explored.

I have three passions in life:
Women, Architecture, and Music

So, for the ladies taking a look... feel free to respond, I promise to answer any questions Sunday.

4th page.......

No one is interested in an amazing man? (with extreemely talenteted fingers?) guess not, since I was relegated to the 4th page... oh well, guess i'll give the ladies another chance... so,

BUMP!

(can you tell I don't want to work on my Arch project?)

:D

I'll give you a bump, because you definitely seem like a nice guy to me. Of course, you have an undue fascination with sex, but who doesn't on this site? ;) We're going on a date this summer, right?

I'll tell you that I like just about all of the things that you like, although I'm not quite as excitable about music. Additionally, I wouldn't call myself petite...I'm really much closer to, well, average. I've certainly never had any complaints, and I've got a great figure for dressing up and playing make-believe games of the sexual variety. ;) I don't have an obsession for architecture, but I love to look at really impressive examples of the art. Also, I grew up around constant remodeling, so I actually really enjoy it myself.

I promise I'll return your PM's this afternoon, but I've got to go to the library for a while and then to class. Strangely enough, they won't let me access Lit from the campus computers...I wonder why?

Bump

Thanks for that last sexy message. I'm going to go read your story now, and I'll let you know what I think.

I enjoyed the story a lot. I thought it was very sweet and very descriptive...something tells me a lot of women would enjoy that. ;) You should DEFINITELY keep writing, because I know we would all love to read more.

My only major literary criticism (don't be offended: I'm a grammar cop, and I'm containing myself) is that I would try to avoid using the same word several times in the same paragraph. "Scent" and "moisture" are examples of words that were a bit overused. You just don't want your audience to be pulled out of the story because they're busy noticing the same words. Fortunately, you're a talented writer, and that's a pretty nit-picky thing to worry about. I really would look forward to reading more, so let me know if you want help editing or if you just need a woman's opinion.

Have a good evening, and I definitely look forward to talking to you later.
