Florida is a beautiful place, beautiful beaches, beautiful weather (a wonderful governor) and everyone wants to live there.

When Europe first got here Florida was sparsely populated and remained that way for a long time. A long time. It's low land, scrub, prone to flooding, scant in real resources. Tribes quickly learned (okay, by failure, you win that point for a moment) that it wasn't a place to live. Eventually, it became almost taboo.

You don't go there, it's evil, it's bad, nobody who ever moved there ever came back...

So, when the inevitable happens, I just have disaster fatigue and my attitude is, you had to go into it eyes wide open and you had to be prepared for it or else, YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!!

Well, laundry's done, coffee's done, just one cup today, kitchen squared away and now it's time for tea. I looked over the selection and it's Earl Grey today. The Asian Market here went out of business, but I'll be in Saint Louie next week, so I can replenish, explore and expand.

I maybe should have gone with Pu'er Il, my stomach is rumbling, but I just wasn't in the mood for its dark flavor. It's flavor doesn't match my vape flavor either; they clash. I need a Yin/Yang flavoring.

I also need dawn, mediations and my waterfall.

I was able to avoid that complex. But, fortunately, I did not allow my schooling to interfere with my education.
 
I put all of it on ignore that did not involve my career.

I knew what I was going to be before I went to college. Learned that by joining the military young (and stupid)...
 
A guy I went to high school who went onto a military college told me that the most motivated student there was a fellow who had pulled four years in the army after graduating high school. He figured that his motivation was that the man knew what he wanted to be, but more importantly, he knew what he did not want to be. That makes sense if you think about it.

More than anything, you have to want to be more than you are.

This often requires a plan more complex than asking your grandma what's for lunch.

It’s a pity that our nanny pamby candy assed lit Libturd posters never figured that out. Of course, that’s what section 8 and EBT is for. We’d hate to think they’d have to depend on a Christian church to extend the hand of Godly charity.
