Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

I feel honored to have achieved the status of the rational but assertive poster Butters, wherein know-it-all egotists rant ad nauseam about me online, even when I respond to them minimally or not at all.

Paranoia and visions of grandeur go hand in hand for today's online Trump-style ranters.
Trashy,

Yeah, Genocide Granny Butthead is a great role model for you.

The one who tried to justify this:

Nobody's ranting about you ad nauseam except me, narcissist. You're collateral damage in this war.

You can't define paranoia or delusions of grandeur.

You suck the infected asses of Baby and BrutalShittyGarbage, whose systemic paranoia caused them to claim my trans identity is a MAGAt hoax. and compelled Baby, the slimiest, stupidest scumbag i ever encountered, to post bogus claims of victory over me.

That's a delusion of grandeur.

Yours is exemplified by your moronic speculations about my CCW.

My grandeur isn't a delusion.

I'm working on this with my personal attorney and several top SFPD officers.

The attorney was described by Baby and that gang as imaginary. Online. It's called libel.

There is a hierarchy of stupidity at the summit of our society.

1. It's very dumb to kill a cop because the rest of the cops will arrange for you not to get to trial.

2. It's worse to kill a reporter because the entire journalistic profession will unite to make sure you never get out of prison.

3. It's beyond brainless to libel a lawyer gratuitously online, unless you want to make sure you can't get any fair hearing in the judicial system.

But that's what Baby, BrutalShittyGarbage, and their clique did when they denied that my main attorney even existed.

When this mess finally gets to court, they will find it impossible to retain decent counsel.

A public defender would look at these rotten turnips and ask what error in their life led them to have to earn their living working to keep the likes of Baby and Trashy out of the slammer.

Ennyhoo, my lawyer handling my CCW backup is the son of this man:

Rebel Lawyer: Wayne Collins and the Defense of Japanese American Rights https://a.co/d/cZbjIia

We'll get it sorted out.

Lol.

As long as you believe it.
Poopy,

I agree with you. You insult yourself, dipshit.

Try not to let the snowflake blizzard freeze your toes off. You already lost your whole ass laughing.

I see you as a victim of the Toecutter:

I want you to end up in a black site in Uzbekistan where loudmouthed unbelievers like you are boiled alive in public.

Seriously, dood. FAFO.

Honestly??? I don't give a fuck who are what they are, if they have the job and they get paid for having the job, then do the fucking job. Jobs aren't always fun and they can be positively brutal sometimes. That's why they call it "work." Plus, the unspoken part of the verbal contract of employment is, I agree to do this work for that money. So many weenies any more cry how their jobs are fucking them, but after a bit of investigation, the observer discovers that the whinger has changed the rules in its head. All of a sudden, the pay ain't worth getting out of bed for. They forget that they agreed to it.

Dear Reader,

Americans are alone. Historically, unprecedentedly alone. Going back decades in official government data, I could find no period in U.S. history when the typical teenager or adult has ever spent less time with other people than they do today. This surge in solitude isn’t just altering the way we spend our time. It’s reshaping the economy, changing our personalities, and darkening our politics. As I spent more time reporting, I realized that this phenomenon required a name. We needed a way to see how 21st-century aloneness had affected nearly every aspect of modern life. I decided to call it “the anti-social century,” and it is the subject of my new cover story in The Atlantic.

Before we go on, let me say something nice about introversion and being alone. I am an introvert. I often love being alone. As the father of a rambunctious infant, I know all too well how sacred and essential a moment of quiet can be. But there is a difference between a moment’s quiet and a decade-over-decade plunge in socialization. From the 1960s to the 1990s, Americans became less likely to hang out, join clubs, and invite friends over for dinner. Then came the real crash. In the past 25 years, face-to-face socialization has collapsed for every age, ethnicity, and demographic. The pandemic did not create these trends, but it did exacerbate many of them.

The erosion of companionship has created odd and depressing distortions in American life:
  • Men who watch TV now spend seven hours in front of the tube for every hour they spend with somebody outside their home.
  • The typical female pet owner spends more time caring for her pet than she spends in face-to-face contact with friends of her own species.
  • Today’s teenagers have fewer friends than previous generations, and they spend one out of every three minutes of waking life staring at a screen.
My story visits some dark corners of American life. I consider the way that excessive alone time might be a major force behind the rise in anxiety, our deep political divisions, and our unhappiness. I report from the frontier of “AI companions,” which already have tens of millions of users, and think about how the age of artificial intelligence could deepen our retreat from the physical world. But my story ends with hope. If excessive solitude is bad for us, then at least this is a malady with a known, effective, and affordable cure: hanging out. One study by researchers at the University of Chicago concluded that many people “mistakenly seek” too much solitude for themselves. We withdraw from much social exchange out of anxiety or fear, when in fact even self-described introverts are often happier when they are forced to behave just a little bit more like extroverts.

We seem to live in an age of tremendous fear, anxiety, and reclusion. I believe a happier life is possible. But I believe that happier life will require that we take a risk, leave our homes, and spend more time with other people. Thank you for subscribing to The Atlantic and for supporting stories like mine.

It appears on the surface that the prerequisite qualification for all 3 high level positions within the LAFD was based on sexual preference (DEI). I wonder if the people of LA county were aware of the lucrative compensation packages for these positions.

They were entrusted with the protection of millions of people. Could any one of the three go out and do the job of a firefighter. There's an old belief in the marine corps, you can be a truck driver, desk jockey, pilot or cook, but remember you're a soldier first and you will know how to soldier. IMHO

Every Marine a rifleman. Lee Harvey Oswald still shot 191/250 not long before he got out, and he was kinda scrambled by then.

I don't have an issue with them as long as they can do the job, and as long as they weren't hired over someone more qualified. I know the level of responsibility

We had a utility crash here last week. Little-to-no water for 48-60 hours and it had to be boiled. Now, that's some Third World kind of shit there. It affected four localities. Here's hoping that someone gets the kick in the ass over it that they have coming.

Sounds like you're overly grid dependent. That tends to happen to blowhard "rugged individualists".

Twin row radial with 14 cylinders, almost 1200 Hp, fixed 3-blade prop.

Flew like nothing else in the sky could touch it. Because there wasn't anything that could.

This one is a big deal. It, the Shitfire, and the ME-109 all had V-12s and that kinda limited what they could do. I have come to thing that the P-47 was the mostest dangerousest thing we produced. If we mounted a couple of 20mm cannons additionally, or in lieu of a couple of the 50s, I really wonder . . . .

that I can't say. Most people don't realize that there were other aircraft other than P51's out there. Occasionally they'll either know, or will remember Corsairs because of the funny shaped wings, but that's about it.

I personally think that "the most dangerous" aircraft man has ever built is an A-10. What astounds me is that not a single one of the Experimental Aircraft Association companies makes one as a scale kit. A V8 engine centered over the spar with a split drive (differential) to a pair of ducted fans aft on either side of the fuselage would be totally workable and it'd still be a fixed wing, SEL aircraft.

If I were a younger man, I'd consider building one from scratch. Alas...

Oh, I heartily agree. I recently finished rereading Rudel's Stuka Pilot and he was all about some ground attacking. He also was just a tough determined son-of-a-bitch. He mastered his airplane and got the most out of it. I think that the A-10 is a fascinating evolution of the type.

It's not just the ground attack, the A-10 carries avionics which allow it to dogfight like the F-35 can. It's not as fast as anything swing-wing but it's more maneuverable and can take a lot of damage without falling out of the sky. With long range missile capabilities from its avionics, it's more than just a tank buster/hired gunfighter.

But it's slow and yesterday's tech so the Air Force wants to retire it. The troops want more of them but the brass needs to feed the war machine.
