"It" has been something for lo these many years. My theory is that it is getting more shrill as its irrelevance is becoming more profound. Like an imagined shark in a urine puddle, and the sun has come out and is drying its puddle. Evolution is irresistible and the extinction event has come and is close at hand.

Even if the facts aren't quite right in the meme, the "experiment" happened on real live humans and is reminiscent of Nazi medical experiments. In my state, there was systematic sterilization of low-IQ citizens. All of it is horrible.

We are. Fertility rates are in the toilet across the globe and the human population is expected to start dropping in the next decade or so. And that is going to have some seriously interesting consequences.
