The Washington Football Team may have messed up the reveal of its new name by making WashingtonAdmirals.com website go live far too early, a report says.

This month the team announced that it would reveal its new name on February 2, but the Internet may have ruined the big day.

On Monday, CBS Sports reported that a website named WashingtonAdmirals.com was already redirecting itself to the current Washington Football Team’s website.

The domain was quickly taken down after news began spreading, but it could be that the team is choosing the Admirals as its new name. And that was recently confirmed by ex-NFL player Boomer Esiason.

is that because the Washington Generals name was already taken by the team that's the patsy of the Harlem Globetrotters?

Will they still suck and have a lousy owner?

Even if you polish a turd, it's still a turd....

You approve of 45, you don't get a say.
No I don't. I would like someone like 45, just not 45. I always thought he would somehow become more "presidential" or diplomatic considering the gravity of the position, but he didn't. Nevertheless, Admirals is fine, but I don't think their color scheme goes with it. I see something in the blue range.

Anything is better than just calling themselves Washington Football Team.
I can understand they were under pressure but that was just stupid.

.....

Washington Filibusters (ha ha ha.)

Actually Washington Monuments doesn't sound too bad. Washington Senators would work, that isn't currently in use either (there was some long-defunct baseball team from like 50 years ago with that name but who even remembers that?)

That franchise is now the Texas Rangers.

so, I guess the answer to your question is, me.

I heard from a credible source that the new name will be The Washington Tools and the logo may be a small hammer, level or screwdriver, though there is heated debate over phillips or flat head and what direction, if any, the level is tilted.
