Last great hope? She was the only one for a long time and we'll see when the next one emerges. It'll happen eventually but we don't know when.

There will be a woman president someday, that's inevitable. And hopefully she'll be elected for her policies and agenda, not the mere fact that she has the required plumbing.

The thing is in reality people DON'T vote policies they vote ooey gooey feelings that are utterly irrational and at SOME point you have to accept that if no women are major players in at least the nomination process that maybe it's not them it's us.

I mean don't get me wrong I wish we elected based on rational analysis of the facts and of policies and of proven histories, but I'm not stupid enough to believe that.

Funny thing is, all the people who are saying this should have been decided on the issues, only talked about, and still are only talking about one issue, just how bad is Donald Trump...

... that was the whole sum of their rational discourse ever since he vanquished everyone and everything in his path.

But, gee, it would have been nice if we just talked issues where Hillary would have been hands down the clear winner.
 
Another thing to note is the sudden reemergence of angry alts from the past who had nothing to say on Lit during the election, whom now seem to have to have a place to vent their frustration over losing what they thought was permanent...

So much for the notion that if the Republicans don't embrace the illegals, they're toast.

Trump increased the AA vote over Romney.

I think that someone may be finally realizing that they are going the way of the basket of deplorables as far as the Democrats are concerned as they welcome in the illegals, who do not frequent abortion clinics in near the ratio as the AA community.
