Show me a pre-WWII German who wasn't racist.

Bumping your own threads? Are you busybody now?

Why on earth would i have to bump such interesting threads

:cattail:

People dont really like your smug, eurofag attitude.

And no, I dont think he was racist, he just didn't think highly of certain cultures and their filth. Much like all us 1st worlders and how we view eurotrash.

I don't think it's really fair to judge people by the standards of a different century.

If you watch unedited pre-1950 cartoons, you might think racism was the norm for the time.

It's strange in a way, because Einstein was a Jew and I suspect that there was quite a bit of anti-semitism in Germany during that time.

But that's something that I noticed:
You'd expect stigmatized minority groups to be more empathic and kinder towards other minority groups.
And some are, but with others it's the opposite: they become much more judgmental and harsher than members of the majority.

Eugenics was a wide spread, common ideology pre WW2. His statements are pretty mild compared to some famous eugenicists:
Teddy Roosevelt, Alexander Graham Bell, Winston Churchill, Bertrand Russell, George Bernard Shaw, H.G. Wells.

The list goes on and on. Did you know there was an Ammurkhan Breeders Association?

The ABA was formed specifically to "investigate and report on heredity in the human race, and emphasize the value of superior blood and the menace to society of inferior blood". Membership included Alexander Graham Bell, Stanford president David Starr Jordan and Luther Burbank.[56]

When Nazi administrators went on trial for war crimes in Nuremberg after World War II, they attempted to justify the mass sterilizations (over 450,000 in less than a decade) by citing the United States as their inspiration.[43] The Nazis had claimed American eugenicists inspired and supported Hitler's racial purification laws, and failed to understand the connection between those policies and the eventual genocide of the Holocaust.[57]

Who cares? He's dead and it doesn't make his work any less valid.

I agree. It's really audacious to do that. The question itself is a waste of time.

Btw, I voted, and will address her accordingly as, nowisthetime's tits cuz I bet they're fabulous and definite winners in any competition. :rose:

His comments sound more like the ignorant statements of a child being exposed to the new and alien, rather than the malicious racism of an adult. It's the sort of views I've found are quite common amongst the elderly who were raised in an entirely white society. It's a good example of how society has and continues to progress.

Non practicing Jew most of his life. Educated by Jesuits (Catholics). Married firstly an Orthodox Christian. Divorced he neglected to pay child maintenance. Then married secondly his first cousin (incest!!)

Otherwise pretty normal and accepted views for his time pretty much as Dolf said.

Interesting.

I'm certainly not here for the popularity contest.

And no, I dont think he was racist, he just didn't think highly of certain cultures and their filth.

You win there. :rose:

I am a sucker for a vagina with a brain... I say, since i'm in town, let's get this rough sex episode out of the way. Provided you wear something that exposes those tits, and accentuates those lips.

I don't think he was being a racist, nor that his comments would be racism today.
Unless, of course, you're a Hillary/Bernie type of snowflake.

I heard you had good looks. I think that's a good thing. A very good thing. :cattail:

(See F? How popular you think I'll be now?)

Duh....he was white, so clearly a racist.

All whites are racist, they can't help it, it's genetic.

Pillock. Any recent pictures were stolen from another person's Twitter account. Stop being gullible, I'm an old man.

I disagree.

We need such discussions, to see that people are complex individuals.
Churchill was a racist too (Indians) , but he also warned against and defeated Hitler.

Otherwise, we'll end up adopting the Leftists/ SJWers manichean mentality.

Tearing down statues is suggested for thought crimes? There's a world of difference between noting in your private diary that you don't like certain races, and actively participating in slavery, oppression or genocide.

It amuses me that having leftward leaning ideals makes me rabid, blinkered and irrational. Especially when I'm posting on the same site as BB.
