I bought one for a friend of mine for the holiday ... but I couldn't resist taking it out of the plastic and running it over my skin.

Is a wartenburg wheel the same thing as a dressmakers wheel that is used to trace marks from carbon paper onto fabric? Is there a difference?

Close, but if i remember correctly, the tines on the dressmakers wheel don't have quite the "pointy end of the stick" effect.

This is one of those things...i have seen them before on here and other sites but never really expect that they deliver all those sensation...after all, it's just a load of pointy bits on a wheel.

I must say that now it's beginning to look a little more interesting...still not too convinced that it makes people feel all those things.

They do deliver many different sensations.
