WARNING: Possibly Dumb Question

I've been searching for several days now and can't seem to find the answer to this, so hopefully someone can help me and this isn't a dumb question. I'm trying to get myself listed in the Writers.Literotica.com website and want to add some of my work...but when I try it keeps telling me my stories/poems aren't turned "on." I have voting and public comments both allowed...is there another something I'm supposed to do to get my stories turned on? I'm presuming that buying them drinks and dancing with them to seductive music isn't going to get the job done...but short of that, I'm at a loss.

That was a project that never got off the ground. There are still bits and pieces of it on the member's page, but it doesn't really do anything. The code that would have made it work was never written.

So, not really a dumb question. An excellent question would be why Manu hasn't stripped the dead links off our member pages

Thank you - I guess I can stop trying then to force the program to do something it just plain won't do and frustrate myself in the process!

Although if I were a masochist, it would be a perfect way to pass the time away...!

Unfortunately, as has been said any number of times, this site is strewn with nonworking links and other detritus. It must be a Sargasso Sea for newbies.
