Wardrobe Selection

A lot of women can sometimes forget how important it is to remain well manicured and "done" for the Doms who really enjoy this sort of woman. For Doms who like their girls to be well-kept, making sure your hair is neat and feminine, your nails are kept long and painted, and your toes are done is very important. Smooth skin and a clear complexion is also very important for the "done" look. Being manicured is quite basic, but a totally necessary part of the ultra-sexy look that your Dom is probably reaching for.

Mister, my husband, really likes the "done" look on women, and we actually budget a portion of our income to keep me in the salon on a regular basis. My hair gets trimmed and styled, sometimes highlighted, my nails (acrylic) are filled and painted, sometimes I get my legs waxed, sometimes I get a pedicure, or a facial.

Clothes are very important, but neglected toes or unkempt hair can ruin a look faster than anything. Remember to fix your body up first before you worry about clothes!
I like it. And keep yourself beautiful on the inside.
Ya never know when the surgeon might want to cut you open, to see what is inside.

Clean coronary arteries are hot.

That's really sweet of you to say, honey. My coronary arteries are in great shape! My blood pressure is actually slightly low, which is great! And my resting heart rate is fantastic. I don't eat red meat or pork. :)

My going-out attire usually has strong notes of dieselpunk, cyberpunk, and everything "wasteland-y" in between as I seem to carry myself and dress more like a Tank Girl kind of pyl than some kind of barbie. (Then again, I like to think I wear bullet belts, spray-painted wife beaters, and combat boots better than most girls.) 'Sides: looking tough makes getting your ass kicked in the bedroom all the more fun~
Man, I just love the dieselpunk/cyberpunk look. Freakin' awesome. I lean towards a steampunk/classic look myself, going for a slight blend of delicate and feminine mixed with badass, brass and adventure. I think the adorable classy look makes being sadistic all the more surprisingly amusing. :D Man, I would be so pissed if anyone tried to tell me what to wear or get me specific bedroom or sexy gear. Soo pissed. I guess that's why I'm not a sub.

But! For the original question. I personally find corsets a nice kinky touch; when looking for kinkier clothes I tend to look at the gothic sort of styles. Corsets, fishnet stockings, chains and leather jewelry... lace up boots, that sort of thing. But it really all depends on the Dom/me, what they like and what they want. One person finds plastic clothing hot, the next likes leather, the next gets hot over velvet and silk, that one finds fishnet stockings tacky, that one loves them... and me? Cravets! (fans self) Egads but those are hot.

I do think that black stretchy dress linked is awfully snazzy, though. I'm glad to hear you're all set! Do we get pictures of the clothes? :D You must share your wardrobe choices with us!

:) sweet. I run a low pressure too, sometimes I crave salt so badly to get the pressure up. I get lots of activity at work, I must run miles a day, but they say that does not count. I really like your make up fairy thread. I am going to check it out so I can get better at it. I am good at the lips and mascara, that is all I can apply without looking silly.

My husband always likes to see me well put togehter. In everyday life he likes to see me dress feminine and proper(for lack of a better worrd), but in the bedroom his strongest preference is black anything, heavier make up, goth type stuff. He thinks its a turn on for him to see me the way everyone else does during the day(girly dresses, somewhat conservative), but at the same time only he knows what I am gonna look like in the evening at home. It a bit of a game for us I guess

Well, for me, it would be whatever makes you feel sexy and confident. Revealing is a plus as is a little variety, but otherwise, anything goes. Appearance matters, but it's far from a top priority and any outfit would look far better on the floor. :D

Okay Cravets make me all kinds of hot too...Oh and cufflinks. I melt for cufflinks.

Mine is combat boots. The real kind that the military wears that are black leather and has the little hook things from the top of the foot clear up to the top of the boot. I could spend hours shining those and playing with the laces.
Ironically enough, though, boot blacking holds no appeal for me...

YAY! I'm not the only one! I wondered if perhaps my fetish for cravets was somewhat abnormal. And yeah... awesome cufflinks are great too. Oooh, and buttons!

I guess that falls into the "polished" and "done" category... except for men. Or female crossdressers.

(That's it. I totally want an adorable pet butch who likes dressing up as a Victorian gentleman. Eeee that would be so... I have such weird fetishes, don't I. And I do say that amidst people who enjoy whips and chains and electric wands.)

Ooooh, yes. Those are AWESOME. If I had an awesome pair of combat boots I would wear them all the time. With dresses. Hell yes.

Army surplus stores.

Not kidding. They'll probably have really nice new ones in your size for a song.

I am so there. (well except for the pet butch ) I love to see men done up in that victorian style. *purr* Just wish it was more popular.

I get totally hot for my brother's boots (army man). I told him he should buy me a pair from the PX for christmas. So far he hasn't. :(

Oh, quite possibly. There's one a couple hours away, but we rarely go that direction and last time I was there I was terribly distracted by the knives. :D Maybe I shall have to shoe shop instead. I never thought of indulging my steampunk love in an army store.

Me tooooo. So pretty, so classy. It makes men look so much more appealing. :D But I admit I presently have a thing for women crossdressing sooo... <3

I do dearly wish the Victorian style was more popular. I've seen some people lean towards it as a kink on Fetlife, at least there's a couple groups for it... but it generally does seem to be more for women dressing in the style than men. But it's ohh soo beautiful.

Noira, I do love your Avator image. Is it your own work?

Oh, I have avatars disabled. I totally forgot I had one. I'll just go and check and see who it is right now... yes, yes indeed! It's one of the characters from my graphic novel, and come to think of it, her relationship to some characters has some terribly strong subby themes. Indeed it is my own artwork. I'm a digital painter.

It's very impressive- looks almost worked up in oils at a glance. What software d'ya use for it?

Also, it's ace that you do the whole kaboodle- both writing and illustrative art!

Photoshop and a Wacom tablet... nothing fancy at all, just industry standard. I just use'm differently than most people do. I do get the comparision to oils a lot and I think it's because I originated as a traditional artist... I did watercolors and acrilics... so I applied the same techniques digitally, and because of the more opacity of digital painting, it looks more like oils. My technique is basically to set the tablet to pressure sensitivity for opacity, and pick new colors as I go with the alt key to create blends, using [ and ] to change brush size as I go and shift + [ or ] to alter the hardness of the brush. With the keyboard shortcuts I'm in complete control over the effect of my digital brush and though I generally use either a circle or a couple custom blotchy brushy brushes, it gives the effect of many layers of paint. There's a mini tutorial for you. :D

And yep, I do the whole kaboodle! But let me tell you, writing for a comic is a lot different than writing for a novel... the writing falls flat, I think, though it worked in novel form. And I'm not a bad writer either.

Also I MUST SEE THAT MOVIE. Though they basically stole my plot for the stories I've been working painstakingly on. D: Now if I try publish I'll look like a copycat. Though I guess I have far less action and write more of drama than just FIGHT...
