I haven't been able to watch the news as much so I was wondering if you could straighten out my thoughts on the Afghani Caves.

Am I right in presuming that these caves are not just straight horizontal complexs but vertical floors such as like a building only under ground instead of on the ground?

Before I continue let me know if I have it right so far,

Thanks

The caves are just like any cavern you can tour- if you haven't, I suggest you do, they're incredible places.

They're like the ones you'll fine in Texas, New Mexico, etc. Long twisting tunnels that open up into huge gaping spaces with pools and beautiful water created structures. Kind of an interesting contrast to the scum living in them.

So easily they could put up some scaffolds and stuff and make stories and stuff.

The one they think Bin Laden is hiding in... they're not sure a nuclear bomb could get to him.

The caves are a complex, complex

The military imaging satellites have shown a layer by layer breakdown of the construction. Plus they can tell from these satellites if the caves are occupied and by how many people. Just add gas.

Caves are a great place to take an afghan, or a blanket or whathaveyou. Don't forget to take a date, and a nice bottle of wine.

ok, so why can't we just seal them in these caves or flood them out with water?

Yeah I am dence tonight a lot on my mind, so please to be helping , apreciated it is

water is no fun.......not as much pain.........

Todd, I read that we are using bombs to close off the entrances/exits to the caves, just trappint the people inside.

Circle the mountain ranges with a wall. Post sentry's on the walls and wait em out.

Or plan 2, just take over a bunch a newbies on howitzers and let em practice on the entire mountain range............or just continually carpet bomb them from now until eternity. (LOL)

Or plan 3, just wait em out. Eventually they gotta come out. Maybe we use some of their own tricks against em........

OK, this is not so much about caves, but has anyone even seen a picture from Afghanistan that has as much as one plant growing in it? How do they make oxygen over there? don't plants make oxygen or did I miss eighth grade too?

How long are you Yanks going to be taken in by this so called "War on Terror"??

Its all about the oil in the Caspian sea and getting the pipeline through Afghanistan, Pakistan and to the Indian Ocean!

I quote your president on the 28th November 2001;

"I congratulate Russia, Kazakhstan, and Oman, and their consortium partners, for the commissioning of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). U.S. firms, notably ChevronTexaco and ExxonMobil, have played leading roles in this project. These facilities represent the culmination of years of effort. They are examples to the world that the United States, Russia, and Kazakhstan are cooperating to build prosperity and stability in this part of the world.

The CPC highlights the important progress by countries in the Caspian region in building a transparent and stable environment for international trade and investment. The CPC project also advances my Administrations National Energy Policy by developing a network of multiple Caspian pipelines that also includes the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Supsa, and Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipelines and the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline. These projects will help diversify U.S. energy supply and enhance our energy security, while supporting global economic growth"

I have seen the caves in Afghanistan likened to the tunnels at Cu Chi in Vietnam. The Viet Cong had whole communities underground complete with hospitals, living quarters, theatres for political indoctrination, etc.

Whatever the situation in Afghanistan, you can bet the farm that it won't be a walk in the park.

With entrances large enough to drive a convoy through and rooms large enough to fit SEVERAL 747s in, the volume of water needed to flush somebody out of just ONE cave would be immense.

HOwever, when we seal these entrances off, some caves can have YEARS and YEARS worth of food and oil for generators. They can then take their time and dig open the entrance.

The only real way would to be to either go in there and make a cmbat sweep of the caves, or to nuke them and irradiating the same people of Afghanistan that we've been trying to save.

fuck'em

air has got to get in somewhere and propane or some gases sink.

find out where, put in a few thousand gallons/cubic feet.

note: turn on valve and run like hell, they will blow up by themselves.

Yes, i know but if your going to be cold , why then be frosty!
