What's more, you have a list of references as long as your arm to back you up. You deride everyone here as producing mundane and sophomoric arguments and express pity for us that we are not as enlightened and capable of objective debate as you.

Then you prove incapable of holding sane debate yourself. Just in talking to me, you have contradicted yourself twice within three posts (your essay on how great America was for not aiming for an empire which was abandoned shortly after Hawaii, American Samoa and Guam were referenced), refuted all known economic theory as 'wrong' because it disagreed with you (the debate on whether a free market would provide education for everyone) and, my personal favourite, lost an argument about the NHS so badly that you accused me of lusting after Empire in a Dadaist personal attack. And they're just the ones that come immediately to mind.

If you're going to act like a figure of fun, you shouldn't be surprised if you're treated like one.
