Needs cause me to choose.

Wants cause me to ponder and wish.

Cravings dominate my every sense.

Desires fuel my mind.

They all pertain to the satifying of an appetite, Cath, guess it could depend on what you're hungry for, be it health, wealth, happiness, sex or food. What is the driving force?

I don't always get what I want.

What I want is not always what I need.

Cravings for me are a hunger for a particular item (usually food or something I taste).

Desires are cravings from my heart! They are the longings that linger for a voice, a touch, a sensation, a look... something that goes directly into my heart.

For me...the needs are the basic necessities of life...food, air, water, etc.

Wants are those things just on the border of needs...not quite the basic necessities...but almost...

Cravings are those things that are intertwined with desires...

I have a tendency to follow the basic needs...they kinda run my life til I can't stand it anymore...then the cravings take over
