Hmmm. You could always check the story ideas forum for ideas. There are a lot of people who would love to see their ideas written into stories. I myself keep a log of a few ideas in most categories that I'd be happy to share, though most of it has been posted on the message boards over time anyways.

Hon, you can get a good start by thinking about someone that you would really like to have your way with!! And don't be shy!! Be it you Dad, uncle, brother, neighbor, co-worker, boss, movie star, public figure, whatever. Then just let your mind wander. What would you do. How would you start? How would you break the ice with him? (Or even her!!!) Tehn just tell what you would do, step by step. Then get a volunteer editor (I am one) to go over the story and give you hints, and make corrections etc. It really can be fun once you get started!!!

Damn, this is tough. Writers have been arguing about this for years and years. All anyone can do it tell you how they do it. But it really is an individual thing.

Personally, I dream up the characters. They rattle around in my head for some time, days, weeks, sometimes years... that they hit on some idea or other. The ideas come from newspaper clippings, conversations with people, incidents in my own life...it could be anywhere and the ideas don't have to be some massive story. I do the "Sienfeld" thing - He opened the door for his girlfriend - that's a story .

With the idea, I let the characters write it, when they finish it just seems to pour out. That's the best I can tell you.
