I got a call tonight that my 26/27 yr old next month, just got busted on a DUI...He lives 1000 miles away..What the hell am I gonna do? I will not bail him out...I will not say it is all ok..He got mad cause I had no sympathy for him ( I was and am dying inside)

He told himself it was ok to drink and drive, now he needs to tell himself he is responsible for his actions. If he thinks you're not being sympathetic then maybe he needs a bottle and a diaper.

Sorry not trying to be mean, I just get aggravated when people do these things to themselves and then have the gall to cry to someone else about the consequences.

Tough love means he may just grow up to be able to take care of himself.

I have a soon to be 15 yo that thinks she's a princess... mostly thanks to her grandparents who hardly ever say NO to her! That's very hard for a single mom to deal with...

Needless to say, I won't go into major details except to say that I could fill up this whole first page alone!!
