According to the Wall Street Journal, President-elect Donald J. Trump has made an offer to Florida governor Ron Desantis (who he has now nicknamed "Little D" to friends for some reason).

Trump will withdraw his proposed nomination of alcoholic misogynist Pete Hegseth and nominate Ron DeSantis for Secretary of Defense on the condition that DeSantis installs former Fox News contributor and current RNC chair Lara Trump (aka Mrs. Eric Trump) to the open United States Senate seat vacated by Marco Rubio, who has been nominated as Trump's new Secretary of State.

Video of Hegseth referring to the President-elect as an "armchair tough guy" surfaced yesterday. I'm sure that had NOTHING to do with Trump's offer.

do you have a link, now would be a great time to supply it

I supplied the link in the post. That blue text? That's called a hyperlink and it takes you directly to what I am citing.

You've been here for 22 years, longer than I have been here, you should have figured out the linking system on Literotica long before now. I'm guessing the clock on your VCR player continually blinks "12:00".

I suppose it would be considered churlish to point out my original post was almost two months ago, so "now" wouldn't be a particularly great time to supply it...particularly since the alcoholic Pete Hegseth was confirmed as Secretary of Defense on Friday in a tiebreaking 51-50 vote so the entire speculation about DeSantis replacing Hegseth is moot.

The sad truth is that with a republican senate majority there are no problematic, controversial or incompetent nominees.

Of course there are, that's why they aren't putting anti-American leftist scum like Democrats in any positions of power.
