Walking Dead RP OOC (for Halloween)

I'm here, I figured it may be slim goings until after the new year maybe? Wasn't sure.

*raises hand*
I am here too. Later tonight I might have time to post a little something.
Next few days (until well after new year) I won't have much time to post though.

Ok, this bugging me a little, so I'll fill in the details of the hotel.

The hotel consists of two two-story buildings sitting perpendicular next to each other. A single roof connects the two buildings with a breezeway staircase between them. One staircase is on the far ends of each building. The hotel sits at a right angle to the street, an open grass area within the large parking lot. The roof access is a ladder in the center breezeway from the second floor.

Each building has 15 rooms on the ground and second floor, facing outward. A metal barred railing lines the walkway of the second floor and staircases.

Good idea!

Take three rooms on the ground floor away and add a reception area with a counter and two coffee tables, six lounge chairs and a small couch, an adjoining coffee/breakfast bar with a small (for a hotel) open kitchen, six bar stools along a counter, three rectangular tables with six chairs each, three small tables with two chairs each. Behind the reception is a small office.

Rooms are furnished with double beds and two night tables or two beds separated by the two night tables, a table with two chairs, a small chest of drawers with the TV on it, a few hooks to hang a coat on, a small shelf beside the TV. Bathrooms: shower stall or bath with a shower head and a curtain, toilet, sink, shelf and mirror above the sink, rail to hang a towel on beside the shower or bath, a wastebasket.

I've been really sick this week, my body is staging a coup. Bleck. Hopefully I will get a post out soon.

Thanks dutch. I had quite a bit of tea yesterday and I will probably have some more today. I did feel well enough to venture out for supplies so now I have some gatorade. I just wish my toddler hadn't caught the bug too, poor little guy is so miserable.

The poor dear! I wish him and you a speedy recovery!
Bananas are good too, just a bite once in a while. Or mash up an apple (raw), it works wonders against diarrhea. A mix of apple and banana is great too. Always just a few little spoonfuls at the time though. A spoonful of coca cola does too, and it calms the stomach. Normal coke, not the zero or light. Kids (mine did as toddlers) do better if you are able to offer them a little variation when they don't feel like eating at all.

Thank you, he seems to be on the mend as well. He drinks the electrolytes like a champ and even takes medicine without complaint which is pretty much a miracle. ha. I got him to eat quite a few things today and let him have a few treats (chocolate chip muffins and fruit snacks). He does eat those pureed fruit/veggie pouches pretty often so getting him to still eat those for some vitamins was pretty easy. Thankfully they're cheap and organic.

I hope everyone had great holidays. I'm back.. and I'm glad someone came up with the hotel design.. but you may also want to add something like a basement where the hotel staff wash linen and keep the fusebox and whatnot. It's usually in the back of the hotel.

I think that's a good idea. Ok, so far as far people still in, I counted myself, dutchrain, webbedhawk, simplyjessi, fiesty, and I think anon. Have I missed anyone? And I hope things are going better for you Fiesty. I'm just waiting for you to post.

Seems that way. Where we go from here... open to all ideas.

Write our characters and a few of the others? And finding some others have run off (Pat and his daughter) and some others eaten already, and we could kill off a few more after lunch?

Well... its only been a couple of days. How long to wait in case someone just hasn't had a moment to look/respond?

Well, it's been at least two weeks since Jessi logged in, maybe three days for fiesty, a week for anon, so...
