Boy, I haven't done that in a while. I bounced off the walls to the bathroom and made it downstairs, managed to heat up a cup of yesterday's coffee. It must have been that last half bottle of raspberry wine. It was still sitting on the kitchen table. Doesn't look good at all. But for about a half an hour there, I wasn't worried about nothing.

If raspberry wine were the last booze on earth, I'd be a teetotaler.

At the time it didn't seem to matter. I thought I'd had a stroke in my sleep until I burped raspberry and remembered.

'I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up, that's as good as they are going to feel for the rest of the day.'

Winston Churchill.

Been there..

My ex wife likes her wine and I enjoy a nice beer or sum southern comfort. The next for me is usually ok , I have a drink every 40 days and thats to much. My ex though can shoot back a bottle of wine like water. Her head is good at times.

Chemo, cancer, kidney, getting drunk might not be such a good idea.

Funny, I have seen this quote attributed to Frank Sinatra but never Churchill. Either way, it is amusing and totally apt.

Unless you wake up drunk.

No-one ever saw Churchill and Sinatra in the same room together. Just saying.
