Where the hell is everyone today? I'm starting to feel like I'm talking to myself on the board.

Although it is great for us multitaskers. I can read the board, do PMs, write out Thanksgiving cards to get in the mail today, do my grocery shopping list, etc. all at the same time. :rose:

Hi Chey...good marnin...

Talking to oneself isn't so bad...it may get you committed if you do it too much though...

You always talk to yourself, and you can't multitask.

Mornin MG and Shaq ;)

I think everyone is out doing their Christmas shopping.

I want Radko ornaments, people. I'm sure I'm included in your shopping list, right? :)

What are we? Chopped liver? :D

Silly question time. It never occurred to me - people send cards for Thanksgiving? I noticed something the other day that also surprised me - what I consider "traditionally for Christmas" lights - are now in various colors. People had black and orange ones up for Halloween. Is this a new trend?

Good morning to all. Have the new computer yet, Cheyenne? Christmas present to yourself?

I send cards to far away friends on all holidays. I'm a card nut! I like the funny ones though, rarely do I send mushy ones. Well, to one or two people, maybe. But most are just funny. My favorite this year:

"It was a typical Thanksgiving... the turkey was nearly stripped to the bone. The giblet gravy was congealing on the unwashed plates. The family sat around, bloated and unable to move."

Inside card:

"Then the farts began."

Good idea! I'll have to get to that soon!

:p

Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve? Sending Thanksgiving cards???

Wow. Some of us are ambitious. Personally, I have ambitions for doing the dishes sometime this morning. Or maybe this afternoon. OK, this weekend then.

Is this multi-tasking some sort of estrogen thing?

Am I the only one who LIKES chopped liver?

It's rich in vitamin A people!

I don't think you can blame that one on estrogen.

Hi, stranger! :)

Multi-tasking kicks in big time when I realize I have 20 hours of work and 10 hours available. Estrogen? Probably! Don't all women multi-task? I can never be doing just one thing at a time. Drives me nuts.

The Christmas cards are on the table ready to be started, too. They will likely stay on the table though for a few more weeks. I have to write the holiday letter, first. A few things I can't talk about until after they happen in December, so the letter won't be done until the week before Christmas.

Hello Neighbor! :)

Multi-tasking is definitely incompatible with kicking back and relaxing. Which I will be giving my entire attention to for another four minutes or so -- and that doesn't drive me the least bit nuts! :D

Sound like you exciting plans for the next few weeks, if the Christmas letter is on hold? Best of luck with them! :)

hehe... multitasking CAN be relaxing if the alternative is not getting stuff done and getting deeper into a panic state. Don't you know Christmas is only a month away?!?!?! Ack!

Yup, I have good news for the newsletter this year. Just need to wait a bit so family hears first or I'd be in deep doo doo.

Have a fun day goofing off, or doing dishes if you get ambitious!

Morning Cheyenne......

When is your Thanksgiving the 25th?

I am off to finish my christmas shopping later today wooooooooohoooooooo, than it's relax and enjoy the season....:D

They all ran away

You drove them all crazy with your spying and lies and fake community spirit. You need newbies to impress because the oldtimers all know your shit smells the worst.

Yawn....

Just woke up right now, I had a late night last night.
I had my first Lit. phone call... had lots of fun talking to that sweet person.... :)

Then afterwards I was reading for a while , then passed out .. and just now my friend called , we are going shopping and doing lunch .. and I am not even out of my pjs !

Still sleeeeeepy....

Wow - we're tired today. We spent last night at Chuckee Cheese for our daughter's birthday party. For 3 hours our 4-year-old son, our daughter and twelve other maniacal 8-year-old kids had a blast!

Good way to do a celebration, though. We did the party ourselves, just used CEC as the place (probably spent more money than if we had them run the party!) I was able to get there early to reserve tables and even decorate with her Harry Potter theme.

Didn't have to clean our house, didn't have to plan games, didn't have to hire a clown (!) We just kept the kids in tokens and pizza and let them run wild.

This morning our children are happy - they are playing with the new toys and having a blast (even sharing - incredible!)

Now, if we could just get some energy by tonight - well, it won't be to do dishes, I can tell you that! ;)

No, it is on the 28th, a Thursday.

But then many people take the Friday off to sharpen their elbows and hit the stores for the big sales of the season. Me, too, even though most of my shopping is done. It is still fun to go out to look and have lunch with family.
