i confess. i have always wanted to be a part of a full fledged war on the playground. since my young days as a little gber, i heard the stories of old and thought, what fun! when it happened, it felt glorious. for a few hours, i felt like i was a part of something greater than myself. now that it is over, and i am coming down into a crash, i realize that all of this came at a great cost. rest in peace, byron. okay. he was pretty cheap, and detox will do him well, but still. meh. my greatest joy of all came in pming laurel the link to the single thread over 5,000 in the german forum. by far, the best. i felt as if i was personally taking down peter with the hit of a send button. i know, childish, but more childish than an odd letter? i think not.
