I am thinking about checking out the area.
What are some things to do there?
Good hotels to stay at?
Good places to eat?
A good bar to get a drink or two?

Most visitors like to stay in the downtown area. There are a number of nice hotels.

A new barbecue joint recently opened that is very good from what I heard.

If you come alone and would like company I am generally available on Tuesday and Thursday.
