Voting off again?

I have a story that posted this morning and it has several comments yet only 2 votes.

Anyone else getting this?

Editing this, because I see the issue. My story was approved four hours ago (EST) but yet is still not listed on the new story list. The comments are from people finding my story on the favs page.

4 hours. Nice must be another "update"

I've had something like this happen before. Just send Laurel and PM, and she'll fix it for you.

What exactly would I be asking her to fix? What's done is done.

It has not happened before and ordinarily I wouldn't care except the story today is The Finale my SWB series. 16 months of work and this is the one that gets screwed.

This is on the heels of 39 coming out in September and featuring the sister finally coming to terms with her feelings for her brother. That came out on a day the voting was down.

Just one of those things, as they say, timing is everything

I was suggesting you PM her and tell her, nicely, that your story is appearing on your page, but is not listed on the new page. When I did that, she responded in about five minutes and fixed the problem.

It's absolutely a bummer when this happens, but I was only suggesting a way to fix it. You started this thread at 9:30 a.m. It's better to have the story go up on the new stories list at 9:30 than not at all, yes? So it wasn't quite a "what's done is done" type of thing.

And I appreciate the suggestion. What I meant about what is done is done, is simply that. I was i work so could not follow up on the computer and have no idea when the story went up, as you can see my next post was this afternoon.

It was simply annoying is all,in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, more like a bummer as you out it.

Certainly not as big a deal as the people who got screwed when the voting went down not once, but twice during the contest. I'm just wondering what all the updates are that they keep claiming when all I see is people complaining about more and more glitches.

Is it going to be lots of snow where you are? I've heard non-stop bitching from relatives about pre-November snow, though I remember once as a kid when I lived in NH trick-or-treating in the snow. It was kind of weird.

Oh, and how's the ebay stuff going with all those comics you found?

Thery are talking snow in RI but Tomorrow not Monday. It's really a pisser seeing we had a day near 80 not much more than a week ago.

I suppose I could post on both, but to not tick off my "regulars" who have come to expect hardcore BDSM style sex and incest from me. I may post it under my wife's "Kitkat88" ID. Hell she'll probably get better scores than me cause she's cute.

ASs for the comics? I'm about to 7K and only half way through. I can only list/pack/ship so many in a week. It really wroked out timing wise as we bought a new house and are pretty much going to break even on the old one.

I had an attack of consious and went and gave the people I bought the books from another $500 dollars. They need to be out by next month so hopefully they can use it.

I don;t think I ever trick or treated in the snow but do remember sledding on a couple of Thanks givings
