Hi. I'm new here, have published my first story on Literotica, and entered it into the Halloween contest. My question is how do people vote for contest?

Hi Vivian, welcome and congratulations on your first story. They don't vote for the contest. People simply vote for the stories entered into the contests. The winners are those that have the highest scores after reaching a certain threshold number of votes (I think it's 25).

Thanks! I'll check out the links. I'm going to ask a stupid question though: Where is my signature? Is that in Bio?Welcome to Lit, and the Authors' Hangout!
If you're story has already been published, I recommend putting a link to it in your signature. Many of us do. There's also the New Story Advertisments thread on the Story Feedback forum, and What have you posted recently? here in the AH.
If you want readers, make it as easy as possible for them to find your stories. Good luck with the contest!
It's not a stupid question. Much about this site is not at all obvious, and you only learn by asking questions or spending lots and lots of time looking for things. Thanks! I'll check out the links. I'm going to ask a stupid question though: Where is my signature? Is that in Bio?
Thanks so much! I'll do it.It's not a stupid question. Much about this site is not at all obvious, and you only learn by asking questions or spending lots and lots of time looking for things.
Click on your member profile and click on "about" and you should see a section where you can add a signature, including a link to your submission page.
And, as a professor of mine used to say, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. It's not a stupid question. Much about this site is not at all obvious, and you only learn by asking questions or spending lots and lots of time looking for things.
Thanks so much! I'll do it.
Thank you!Welcome to Lit! I liked your story.
