That seems like more of a question for the story writers to me.

Well ... here we are. :D I did post this in the right forum after all. ;)

Ah, those are the funnest... :D

Dammit I told you not to bring that up. You know that entire conversation was uncalled for. The names you called me. The looks I gave you. Good thing there were no dry forests close by that could catch on fire from the heat of the explosive tempers.

Oh Yeah, Hey Lauren, what the fuck am I talking about?

:D

Luv ya babe.....

No, I think that most regulars of the poetry board put poetry and prose on about the same level of artistry. The thing is that while amongst the story-writers here we have all sort of people, from those who take their story-writing seriously to those who are proud to be wankers, over at the poetry board the wankers and the thin-skinned are outnumbered (or afraid to make themselves heard :D)

Bullshit!!! Oh, I guess I am not thin-skinned am I?

:p

Thanks guys, for all the info.

You saved me wasting my time, and more importantly, wasting Lauren’s.

I was able to delete and re-enter Shopper’s Orgy into Satire & Humor. Nobody had viewed it yet, so I’m not making extra work for anybody, I don’t think.

Since Stories have a Description Line that is where I put the subtitle, so I didn’t have to bug Lauren about that, either.

Thanks again.

Nothing to do now, but sit back and wait, see if this bit scores high enough to attract 1-bombs, or whether it reaches the Mole Position on its own merit.

That's Laurel, although she did tell me once that next time someone thought I was her I should respond with something really nasty, just to get her in trouble. :D

Just don't post poems at the weekend. No one wants to review then.

Edited to add: but the above warning only applies if your poetry is good enough to be selected for reviewing. Which mine was (different name)

Anybody who reviews it as POETRY is as ditsy as I am.

Anyway, it's in Satire & Humor (or vice versa).

Lauren: Sigh! Yes, I should know it is Laurel.

Quick Alibi: I just broke a nail and my middle finger is filling in as a temp.

I hope that explains why my latest didn't warrant a mention.

Those daily reviews are a work of love. When I used to make them regularly, every saturday, it would take me the entire afternoon and leave me exhausted both physically and emotionally.

Most reviewers end up feeling the same way at some point and just need to take a break from it.

This is much the same way I feel when I try to participate on the SDC.

I remember how thrilled I was the first time I got a poem mentioned in the daily reviews.

I like how critical things can be over there on the poetry side. But I do wish there was more voting done. I always vote on every poem I read in order to do my part for others.

At the risk of causing unwarranted humility, both Lauren and The_Fool absolutely ROCK! Liar can also spin some serious verse out of us AH'ers... and yes Imp, I been reading you too... :D (shouldn't forget my Min-stress there either. She has won two category noms this year ya know...)
