*** Vote ***

I will be stopping to vote on my way to work this morning.

I have to pull a late shift, but the damned circadian clock wouldn't let me sleep in, so I've been and cast my ballot already. Lines seemed long, but here in MN there's been a lot to incite voters of late.

and if you don't wish to vote because you hate politics then you should at least go and deface the voting form anyway as a protest

hehe... the mainstream idiots know the polls have been open for awhile now. :D

Which re-enforces my notion that Greens are actually lazy Democrats because we all know they're up and voting early...

... and often :D !

*wanders off to vote and deface government property*

voted.

You would think they'd have a signs that direct you to the polls, considering my polling place is on a dead end street in the middle of nowhere.

That's proof of REDWAVE'S claim that poor black voters are being disenfranchised and prevented from overthrowing our government and replacing it with a revolutionary, communist government that will bring peace, joy and equality to everyone.

What? You're not black? In that case, REDWAVE is just wrong as usual. :D

I voted. What's irking is that I had no bloody idea we were supposed to decide which district judges got to keep their seats. So I voted to get rid off all the bastards.

I hate uninformed voting so I left most of them blank, just colored in the circle with the supplied sanford graphite pencil on the one I knew of.

The old lady running it was a total bitch. The power and importance went straight to her head. The old guy next to her was fabulous. He winked at me and made a face at her. :D

not black, but I live in a primarily black community.

voted for the green party.. the old ladies at the church where it was are scary.. I was the only person there without a pacemaker..

Despite 16 inches of rain in 16 days and our area in danger of flooding, there was a long line at my poll at 7:30 this morning. We've had a very good turnout in the early voting also, so it will be really interesting to see results this evening.

I'm going to vote on my way to get the youngest monster from preschool. Mr PCG already voted, and filled me in on what's on the ballot that I didn't know about.

I could have done without the guy shoving literature at me to vote against the library bonds. But I was in a good mood and thanked him, then threw his literature in the can as I stepped into the polling place. THEN, I happily voted FOR the library to get their funding -- smiling the entire time as I did so.

I'm picking up my daughter after school so that she can go to the poll with me. I may need her 9-year-old insight in picking from some of the loser candidates.

by all means, get your ass out there today, elect the next batch of crooks that are gonna rob you blind, fuck you over, and tell you its for you own good. Thats the American way.

Good for you! When my kiddos were little I ALWAYS took at least one with me to vote - and brought them into the voting booth with me too. I think it's a really important lesson.

The American Way!

I will be leaving to go vote in a bit!

Will be voting Democratic all the way w/ the exception of
one candidate for the 4th District in CT for US
Senate (Chris Shays), who is a middle of the road
Republican.

I voted when the polls first opened this morning. In some cases I voted "for" candidates. In other cases I voted "against" other candidates. You can always find something to vote for or against. The important thing is to be involved in the process.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

I'm more open-minded than most of you all. I split my ticket. Libertarians and Republicans about 50-50...

BTW, KillerMuffin, since the Judges seem to be doing a good job of getting killers quick, efficient, guilty-finding trials of some VERY nasty people who gave our dear beloved KANSAS a black eye in this weeks national news roundup, I was quite happy to give ALL the judges on the ballot a pass this time!

Just so you'd know.

The American Way

Hopefully voter turnout will be more than 40% percent, the average for these midterm elections.
get out and vote.
