Ok so i am fairly new to the boards. if i posted this thread in the wrong forum then please forgive me folks.
For someone new to the bulletin boards, its kind of scarey. There are threads that at first glance, seem to be pretty upfront, but then when you post, you soon realize its a bunch of friends and insiders chatting. I was wondering. what is your favorite thread and why?

we see some of those monster threads with over 10K postings and they seem a little daunting for someone to jump right in.

Do you have any recommendations? why did you pick this/these thread(s)

Personally I like the tub threads because most of my friends post there.But you just have to look around for a topic that catches your interests.There are many good ones out there!

I have to agree with feeling somewhat daunted when first registering at LIT and reading some of the threads... But my vote for best thread would have to be Georgia Girl's thread "Georgia Directory"... True there are a lot of friends and insiders chatting there but I was made to feel most welcome by all on the thread the minute I stepped in... Have yet to post on a thread on LIT that was as friendly as this one...

Don't let any thread scare you away, the people here are pretty friendly and if you get a bad response, forget it and move on....

MMMM many of the PIC threads for that needsno explanation

The AUSSIE thread because it where I live and we had a meeting in AUG with 15 LIT people being there and putting faces to posts is great.It's NOT restricted to just AUSSIES and have many friends dropping in from all over the globe, the thread can go from very hot to deep meaningful to comical but always caring.

The over 40's thread I started so us more mature kiddies had a place to play again that can run the range of sexy, caring, serious, funny and back.

In the HOW TO section another I started to help a friend who was on the edge and needed help and if you think your troubles are bad read what some of these people have been through. If you do feel you are in the same placesas those posting get it out there and that is the first step to overcomming it and you will find lots of people who are loving and caring for your support.
