How can you have a rating of 2 voters when there is a "view" number of 0? People vote without reading something because they don't like you? Because giving 1's gets their rocks off? Because the "views" doesn't keep up with the votes posted? Very strange . . .

I recall having heard that votes are updated instantaneously, while views are not, so the view count often lags the vote count. I don't think it's possible to vote without viewing. Voting without reading, though is certainly possible, and yes, there is a sad breed of people who do get off on bombing others' stories. Even the lowest creature needs to feel it has power over something, I guess.

I'm back, and I've read both "Bells" and "Drums."

As I've mentioned before, I think you have a delightful narrative voice--it's light and playful, at times almost musical. Your descriptions are strong, flow and pacing work well, and your dialog feel natural given the context.

Here and there, you've got a bra size and a spelled out exclamation like "Ungggghhhh!" that, IMO, stick out like a blemish on what is otherwise very smooth prose.

As for the substance of the stories... they're not really my cup of tea, in the sense that it's all happy-go-lucky escapades. Aside from a bit of nervousness and hopeful expectation on the parts of your characters, there are no real hurdles, anxieties, dashed hopes, etc. Even the sex lacks a certain...desperation that, for me, makes reading erotica erotic.

That's only a criticism if that's what you want to write, or if you're hoping to appeal to angst-hungry readers. People looking for a cavalcade of enthusiastic group sex, I suspect, will find your work thoroughly enticing. It's vivid, and dense with the juicy stuff. You do a nice job of working in a wide array of kinks--tantra, incest, interracial (though, IMO, you don't kinkify that element, as it's not really fetishized), group/public sex, etc.--in a way that feels natural and unforced, since it all goes along with the core premise of the Gatherings.

Hopefully that's somewhat useful.

Thanx awfully! Being a naturally optimistic sort, I have little use for angst and a happy-go-lucky approach to sex is just what I prefer and had in mind. If, as you say, I have hit that particular nail on the head, I'm happy and hope that others share your assessment. Again, I am grateful for your reading of my stories.
