Hi!

I'm new here and planned on submitting some of my poetry, but I wanted a little feedback first. None of the volunteer editors on the Lit. list even mention poetry. Is there someone you all would recommend?

Are there any unofficial poetry editors? I'm not looking for spelling/puctuation, but rather critique on the cohesiveness of my writing. Sometimes my metaphores make sense to me but no one else.

My stuff is free verse, almost prose, but it's short and, well, I'm hoping, good.

Thanks!

Welcome to Lite

Pearl--

We have a critique thread. Post your poem there and hopefully someone will look at it soon.

Comment to a few other poets. A quick way for folks to get to know you and we're pretty polite. I try to reciprocate the favor. When someone takes time to comment to me, I read her work and offer my observations.

Peace,

daughter

I need help also

Hi

Thank you, Pearl

I myself was wondering where to go to ask that question, glad to see someone had the same idea first!

My problem is a bit more complex, though...

I'm portuguese, so I have real editing problems, not only looking for criticisms, welcome as they would be.

Angeline helped me with my 2 first posts, and did a wonderful job for which i'm tremendously thankful, but I can't keep asking the same person to do all my free editing for me, can I?

Sooo, if anyone (*winking@daughter*) could point me in the right direction, It would mean so much...

and, daughter, I apologise beforehand for the crappy titles... I'll do better next time :)
