Poll: Would you consider yourself loud or quiet in bed?

Post: What do you prefer your partner to be?

I tend to get really loud, which my SO thinks is great, but it kind of limits where/when we can mess around since there always seems to be people about and I don't want to be overheard. If I try to concentrate on being quiet, that's less concentration for other things ;). The best times are when we have an empty house :D

I tend to be very loud myself. My lover isn't too loud - but he is verbal - god I love that! When the surroundings forbid the volumn I usually grab a pillow and use that as a muffler. Although sometimes it can be incredible hot to make NO noise. Just hearing all the luscious sounds our bodies make together is so sexy.

Normally, I'm on the loud side. And I especially like to talk during sex - telling my man how he's making me feel, what I'd like him to do, etc. However, we are not always alone, and those times are tough. (He has grown children that stay with him, and they think it's way cool to start pounding on the door when they know dad is "doing it"!) There was one time, when his kids were staying over, that he told me I couldn't say one word or make any noise at all. I don't think I was totally silent, but it was erotic as hell trying to keep quiet while enjoying what he was doing to me!

I'm usually very loud...I even chased a garden party inside once! My Daddy lives in an apartment building on the 3rd floor, and the ground-floor residents were having a party in the backyard. The windows were open and I was yelling "oh Daddy oh Daddy!" and they suddenly went inside. http://www.amanita.net/images/smilies/slywink.gif

This past weekend, though, I learned the value of being quiet. I was making a bunch of noise and said something to Daddy, and I was promptly told to shut up. So I did, and it reinforced my sense of being used as a fuckhole...very nice! (That's something for the BDSM section I suppose. http://www.amanita.net/images/smilies/handcuffs.gif)

Let's just say it's awfully nice having neighbors a lot & a half away.

Nothing like a good exhuberant fuck coupled with the sounds of sex!

LOUD!

We live in the country, and with woods all around and quite a few acres between us and the neighbors.......when the kids are gone, there is NO Limit to the noise! :D

100 views and only 10 poll takers? Come on, people, you don't have to post, just pick a choice in the poll.

Thank you to those who have voted and posted :rose::kiss:

Maybe I watched too much porn in my youth but . . .

a woman should make SOME noise. There are some who are completely silent. That's a turn-off/deal breaker for me. Let me know it's good/bad or otherwise.

Suffice it to say, I like noise. You don't have to be a screamer and don't do a lot of theatrical, fake stuff but let me know you're there!

I enjoy being Loud and perfer my lover to be loud as well..nothing gets me going like hearing the moans of pleasure or telling me how it feels or what not...but there have been times....

fun times.......when she was incontrol

and told me i HAD to be quiet or she would stop!

that was a FUN night.....cuz she was going at it with gusto trying desperatly to make me make noise.....

mmmmmm

have to leave for a bit now

I think that volume is an important way of showing approval of the efforts of your partner. It is something that takes practice for those of us raised to be quiet, good little girls. Seen and not heard and all that BS!!!

I am trying to work on verbalization. I know my man wants me to be more verbal and give him directions but something inside me tells me to shut up and preserve my dignity. Any pointers???

Thanks

I can definitely agree with that. I wasn't so much raised to be quiet, as I just am. Maybe a result of which sibling I am or something like that.

Being loud and being verbal are two different things. I'm very loud, I just can't help that (in fact it was quite a surprise to my SO since I'm mostly a quiet person otherwise), but I'm not really that verbal. I could also use some pointers on that.

:rose:

I agree that being loud and being verbal are separate issues. I have no problem with the volume - just saying what is going through my head. Seems to me that it just wouldn't sound as good if I actually say what I am thinking.

Loud or Quiet?

I tend to be quiet, but verbal, and I prefer my partner to be a little loud and verbal. I just love it when she talks slutty

*maybe I'll just whisper...*

I'm right with you on this point, crasybbwgirl! I'm normally a little quieter, but it's amazing how much sound doesn't escape when I'm trapped between her luscious thighs making her make noise! :D

cheers!

When I first saw this thread...

...before reading the posts, I thought: 'It's a poll to see what size bed people have.'

Volume in bed, not volume of bed :p

I know that now, idyn. ;) BTW, I'll go out on a limb here (as we owls often do) and guess you're *extremely limber* in bed.

I can be either loud or quiet, sometimes both. It depends on my mood, my partner, where we are...

I have been told I was loud, had a lover run his hands over my mouth or kiss me to make me quieter, I have had people ask my lovers "what was she screaming last night?"

Quiet isn't so bad occassionally, you can hear your partner better, his breathing, his heart, his noise. Some times you want to make love like a slow, lazy flowing river and that is definitely quieter than other times.

I doubt I am ever completely silent though. When I was into tantra I was close to silent, but then you are close to many things ;)

i'm not that loud, but I do make some noise. as for my preference, I do like it when a woman is a little loud & enjoying herself.

I like somewhat quiet partners ;)

I am more interested in the sounds and words than the loudness. If someone is too loud I can't really hear them, plus it can hurt my ears.
