I need to catch up with almost ALL the 'voices' posted since my last post. Had volume issues with some here and neither the time or the patience to fool around to much. I will listen on the weekend in fact I am looking forward to most.......... @}-}rebecca---- said:You seem to be crying a lot MissFury

Well, I for one haven't responded about your voice, because I'm just now coming around after swooning from your voice's sexual appeal. And, when I listened to your song, that frankly took me over the edge to the point I almost couldn't handle it.FurryFury said:I rarely cry, but it is a theraputic.

I started sweating and goose bumps formed on my body. My nipples were hard as rocks, I got light headed and my knees got weak, but what I thought was most interesting of all was how rock hard my cock got. I was thinking of hearing that sexy voice, as if I had you tied and helpless and you were begging me to let you cum. This, after a long session with ice cubes and a very powerful vibrator.
That was just about the point in time when I lost it, and well...I had quite a mess to clean up when I came to. So, in the future, please don't think the lack of someone saying something means the worst. Sometimes, the lack of saying something only means the person had to catch his/her breath and/or regain enough composure to once again put words together and form coherent sentences.

I've never had a computer cam. I once saw on a news show that you can get mixed up in porn with one of those. I sure wouldn't want that!FurryFury said:So sorry! I am messing up all over the place today.

So do you have a computer cam . . .

Just kidding . . . mostly.
You honestly "turned on the sun" for me today, in your previous post. I thank you.

SpectreT said:FurryFury - I don't get this complex you've got about your voice. It's absolutely great. I didn't quite have as strong a reaction as DVS, but it definitely was good on the ears.
As to the rest - as others have said, the voices give us more of a connection; we become a little more human in each other's eyes (and ears), and less "words on a screen". It gives us a tone, and pacing, to go with those words we read.
edit to add And I got my voice file in just in time - I came down with a nasty head cold and sore throat combo shortly after that, and my voice is shot for a little while...

I think someone on this thread has already said this, but we don't hear our own voice the same way others hear it. So, when we hear a recording of it played back, it doesn't sound like us. I remember the first time I heard my voice on tape. I didn't think it was me.FurryFury said:Thanks SpectreT!

I have this complex because:
I'm a deeply insecure person.
My voice is to a great extent my profession and it should be better.
I am my own worst critic.
Nothing is ever good enough.
Sorry to hear you are sick. *HUGS*

Repetition is usually a good way to get over something like this. Recording your voice and listening to it over and over will help you get used to hearing your voice as others hear it. The more you hear your voice, the less "strange" it will sound to you. Eventually, the shock factor will go away and it should help you to become less critical of yourself. We are always our own worst critic, and in many cases, far too critical. A basic personal insecurity doesn't help, either.
I've heard my recorded voice many times. At first, I just couldn't get used to hearing it, because it didn't sound like me. I was actually embarssed when others heard it, too. Now, I've become very much at ease with hearing my recorded voice, and also have no problem with others hearing it.
I've come to realize there is nothing wrong with my voice. There never was. It was just hearing that strange person that didn't sound like me and thinking there was something wrong.
