Hey,

I was reading a thread and I saw the The Earl was offering a recording of his voice to a certain Swedish member of lit. Jealous, I instantly reacted by thinking "well I deserve to hear his voice, too!" and then it hit me. We should start a thread like there sometimes are on the General Board, with little sound recordings so each of us know what some of the others sound like = ) So, being the pioneer that I am (and idea thief) here's a little recording of me.

My microphone/headphone set is screwy, so while I can't hear what I'm saying very well, I don't know if you can hear or not. Forgive me.

To add a file yourself (if you have windows) go to the start bar, go to accessories, go to entertainment, go to sound recorder, record away, zip the file, and then add it here.

PS Chicklet, what you should do now, is hit the 'reverse' option in Sound Recorder, play the sound back to yourself (it'll sound like "re-et-na-cornd-mwher-ent" or something). then you memorise and practice that sound, say it back into Sound Recorder, and then, yes, hit REVERSE again - and hey-presto you're saying a sentence backwards!

I have a mic and even a burner, but had to giggle, as i never use them. My kids did, when they were around. I am so lost without them helping me. Thanks for the memory kick.

Sounds like a good idea, Chicklet, but it's easy to hear your voice on your audio stories. As well, if anyone wants to hear mine, I have several audio stories and one poem up. Easier than trying to figure out how to attach a file. Well, to me anyway. I'm just not that bright in that regard, sorry!
