I probably have a voice. Although, like my speaking voice, I'm sure I don't like it much.

I'm wordy.
My characters think too much.
I don't like euphamisms for genitalia, so I'm afraid I'm redundant as well.

Now you're talking about tasting and all I can think about is the package that is on its way to your house. That's not very writerly at all.

I agree that my work is probably identifiable. Because it's wordy and my characters think too much... I'm looking forward to a point where I can compare my early works with other stuff and see that I've grown as a writer...
