Hi! I'm interested in doing voice narration for some stories. Wondering where to start/how to find people to collaborate with? Also, cheap beginner equipment.

You can already go a long way with just Audacity and a somewhat decent mic. To ramp up the quality you can then look at some of the following:
- better mic
- mic arm
- pop filter
- a DAW to mix multiple channels and add effects/filters
It also depends on what content you plan to produce: 1 voice, multiple voices, sound effects, ASMR. If you want to make ASMR for instance, you want a mic that picks up sound from all directions, if you only do narration then a one-directional mic is often better to avoid picking up unwanted sounds.

I have several stories that run through my head I would love to hear read. It would be worth writing them and editing them if I could hear them read someday. I’m a big fan of audio erotica, assuming erotic stories are what you are talking about.
