I have an absolutely bizarre side effect to my orgasms, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or know which cross-wires in the brain cause this.
Sometimes when I climax, I can "see" images that have nothing to do with the situation at hand. Once I saw an entire room upholstered in grey flannel. My most intense orgasm ever was accompanied by dozens of bright orange enamel teapots. I don't own any grey flannel, and my teapot is silver, so the images are not familiar before they pop in my head. That reminds me - the images don't take over my field of vision, it's more a distinct awareness of the object or image. I've never taken any hallucinatory drugs, and these visual orgasms didn't start until a few years ago (since I've been in my current monogamous relationship).
I'm not complaining in the least, I'm merely curious if I'm really off in my own field on this, or if others have experienced this as well.
