Happy new year! Everything goes quite well in my little corner of the world. The new year has been fairly kind to me thus far.

So is everybody ready for Snomeggedon? The fact that less than an inch did what it did to the commute tonight is kinda scary. Last year they seemed better prepared.

Please, if you are comfortable, share more about general area or main town you are close to and comment a bit.

Just stating area codes does not lead to a fun or vivacious group, unless you're Ludacris...please say more and make friends

While that's a reasonable request, perhaps it would have more impact if you led by example rather than just asking of others something you don't appear to have done yourself.

I'd also like to point out that this thread hasn't been just an area code roll call, as just a quick scroll through the most recent archives will show. Your admonishment about that doesn't really make much sense.

after all the rains we finally see some consistent sunshine this AM in Northern VA.

As things fry out a bit later today it's time to hit the yard, with so much rains it's been hard to get much yard work done or maybe it's time to hang out with other Lit VA folk too?

how's everyone week been? Did you get about 2 weeks of clouds and rain as well?

Same here in RVA, foot tall grass needs to be tamed. Looking forward to an outdoor day after all the rain

My only real knowledge of the Fairfax area is the Mosaic District. Within that, I love the Red Apron. The fries there are the best I've ever had. I also enjoyed Four Sisters, which is a Vietnamese place.

That's all the help I've got. :)
