If you knew a person that said they where a virgin and said they where using the pill. Would you believe that they where a virgin?

Say the person wasnt using the Pill as a medication for an illness or to prevent bad cramps.

Just something I was thinking about.

There are several reasons other than birth control that doctors prescribe the pill. To alleviate severe cramps is one, to regulate a severely irregular menstrual cycle is another.

If the person is someone you would normally believe, then I'd believe her. Being on the pill alone isn't enough to doubt her virginity.

So wait, to reverse the question around. If you knew a guy was carrying around a condom in his wallet, would oyu assume he wasn't a virgin?

I am and have been on the pill for 2 years.

She could just be playing it safe.

Just my two cents. :)

At some point in time one has to expect that their virginity will be lost (or given). Nothing wrong with being prepared.

No reason to believe or disbelieve someone solely on this count.

The pill has many advantages:

Almost complete protection against unwanted pregnancy.
Regularity of menstrual cycle - a period every 28 days.
Lighter flow during periods...
Relief of premenstrual tension.
Fewer menstrual cramps or none at all.
An estrogenic pill can clear up acne in some women...

A condom doesn't do any of that. Irregular periods, and spotting can be a big problem for many women, especially younger ones.

I would believe them. Even though I'm not sexually active at the moment, I'm on the pill. Does that mean I'm having sex?

I've been on depoprovera, and the pill. Depo basically "freezes" your cycle (for most women). If you take the pill for three months at a time before menstruating, it pretty much does the same thing.

Now you bleed every month for four or five days, and we'll see if YOU want to try birth control, too.

Oh I'm sure I would. This was completely made up question. Nothing to do with real life. I was just wondering.

I feel sorry for woman and how they have to put up with it. :(

No, just hopeful.

And after checking the date on it, probably just desperate.
