If that is his attitude, to hell with him. He's not worth concerning yourself over. It sounds more to me like he was the insecure one. And his only choice to justify all this to himself is to belittle you. You don't want or need someone like that around.

You're a beautiful looking woman. I am sure someone new is out there, ready to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Just live your own life and love yourself for what you are. The rest comes to you.
