Vintage missed opportunities

In this day and age when it is not at all unusual to find nude, or nearly nude shots of various celebrities, I often wish that had been the case during "the golden age". I'd very much like to see certain actresses in all their glory. My top three:

1. Doris Day.
2. Barbara Stanwyck.
3. Marlene Dietrich.

Here's my vintage missed opportunity and it has nothing to do with romance. I was a kid, just out of college looking for a job. I was frustrated and spent most of my time looking for a position in the big city about 45 minutes drive from our little suburban oasis. One day I decided to look around my home town. I walked to the ice cream shop, had one scoop with a friend named Henry, then spied a little home that had been converted into a business. The sign out front said "investments". I wandered in and a guy came out and introduced himself as Ray. We talked for an hour. He was just getting started and only had two other people working there. He told me that he'd be happy to hire me with some small salary and a commission basis, but that I'd have to get a financial license. I went home and talked to a friend of my parents, a CEO, and he was non-judgmental, not indicating whether it was worthwhile or not. Based somewhat on his weak response, I ignored it and didn't go for the license or the job. Here it is many years later, I live on the other coast and see on TV this guy Ray, famous now for running a hedge fund managing just short of $100B in assets and giving financial advice.

Both Barbara and Marlene are old enough to have been working in the pre-code movie era. Thus, there are a couple of them nude or topless in their younger days. Just do a search of "NAME nude" and then select Images and you'll find a couple of each. You're likely to be out of luck with Doris as she established her clean image early and don't know if any nude photos exist.
