Hi all, I've been a long time lurker and an every once and a while poster. Mainly I've been active as an author. But I've more recently found another passion. I'm a retoucher, an enhancer. I love taking unfortunate/horrible shots, and making them BEAUTIFUL, breath taking!

But seriously, I'd love your feedback. I really want to take photography to a professional level.

To kick this off, I'm going to post one that shows the original and my fix. After, I'll probably only post my fixes. Lemme know if you want to see the originals too.

I like the before and after posted together.

Those that are my originals will not have a before, though I won't have many tasty originals. The wife quickly cut that side of my photography business short when we met. Anyone who wants me to retouch their gorgeous works, just send me a PM. I have spent years fixing up wives naughty anniversary pics for just that special occasion.

I'm glad you liked the before and after, I'll have to post more. Pick your poison.

How much do you charge for fixing up pics? I'm not asking for a "pin the head on the pervert" type, I just have some erotic shots my ex took of me that I think are sexy as hell. Would you help?

Hey Shelly, I actually don't charge anything right now. I'm just enjoying getting better and better at my art. Just the cost of your courage. What's interesting is that in the first set you've posted, you've made the image brighter. In the second image, you've made it darker.

But if you want feedback, I think if you play with the lighting too much, it takes away from seeing the curves. In the first post, you can see the lines of her curves with the shading, when it was brightened, you can't see them anymore.

I appreciate your opinion, HeyAll. My intention with the first picture was to clean up the grittiness. Removing blemishes and bruises. I really wanted to show the contrast between the rough wallpaper and her soft smooth skin. Whereas with the second, I was going more for the sexy line of her naked body. There wasn't quite enough shadow in the initial picture. Before increasing the shadow I actually turned the entire scene gray scale except for her beautiful body.

With more of my pictures I post, you'll see I don't necessarily darken or lighten all of them. Instead, I look at what's existent in the scene and enhance the beauty you would have seen were you there instead of the camera.

I definitely see the beauty in what you've done with the touch ups. The second post you've made, in the after picture, looks like it could be a cover for an erotic novel.
