I'm aimlessly driving thru Arizona; miles away from Cleveland Ohio. I can't stand to think of Tom, my husband of 5 years; 5 boring years. But that's ok; I've divorced him. I have been driving across the country for the last 2 weeks in the brand new wrangler jeep.

One thing about Tom; he invested wisely. There was more than enough money to go around for the settlement. I dont think I have to work for quite a while, if ever.

Hi, my name is Vicki; Im 28 5-4 110 lbs mid-western girl. Today i'm wearing a halther top and jean shorts. I'm driving thru the dusty back roads of Arizona; leaving clouds of dust behind me.

Hello, what do i see ahead of me... a young mexican mother with a baby. Thank god, I'll get to help someone and in return i get back some much needed company............

It's hot, very hot.
I'm sitting under the shade of the only tree in sight in the middle of nowhere. The last vehicle passed two hours ago and according to the locals that is about normal.
The only other people about are the young mother and baby walking along the side of the road, everyone else is indoors, hiding from the heat.
I am on holiday, hiking across Arizona. Why Arizona?..Why not? If I had known that the travelling conditions were to be like this I would have chasen another state, One with more traffic. I notice a long cloud of dust approuching, can't see the car yet but it seem to be slowing, possibly stopping for fuel. This looks like a potential lift and maybe some company.
