Vibrating condoms?

I saw vibrating condoms in the store the other day. I was wondering if anyone has used one?

It said "battery included", and on the back of the box, it showed what looked like a ring with a box on it - I'm assuming this is the vibrating part, and the battery. But the picture didn't show how that ring relates to the condom.

There was only one per packet, and it was quite expensive, and I don't have a penis to put it on and play with, otherwise I would have bought one to figure it all out.

Just wondering if anyone out there can enlighten me?

A quick search turned up a few different brands, but they all look exactly the same. I'm not even sure if the device actually attaches to a condom or not. From what I read, it sounds like it just slips on the penis and the base of the condom touches it. It's essentially just a ring with a small vibrating device, and the condom is separate.

Here are a couple links I found that talk about it:

That's false advertising... That's not a vibrating CONDOM, it's a vibrating COCK RING... And a kinda cheap looking one at that... :D

Cakegirl: If you're interested in something like that, I would suggest that you go to Adam and Eve's website (or a similar website) for it... They have one's that are of a much higher quality.

I was flicking through a magazine at the doctors office not long ago and came across an ad for a vibrating condom. The packet was done in bright colours, there was only one, it had batteries and cost more than it should.

Alas I don't have someone to try it out on, otherwise it would have caught my interest a little more.

Sounds like it might be worth a test drive though.

1. Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I looked at the package - that it looked like the condom and the vibrating thing were two separate things, and that it was NOT a vibrating condom.

2. There's no point me researching this thing, because, as I said, I don't have a penis to put it on - not my own, nor access to somebody else's! :(
