Most (all?) of you probably don't know me but I know about many of you which is why I'm posting here.

On Sunday December 13th, she passed suddenly. I can tell you that she was the happiest she had ever been in a long time and her life had really gotten good. The evening of her passing she was in the middle of decorating our retro 60's trailer we'd bought earlier in the year that she absolutely loved.

I met Ruby in 2003 and we quickly became good friends and then more. We were married in 2008 and the rest is history. Those of you that knew her know that she was a wild spirit, fun, exciting, sexy and everything else. I was well aware of how adored she was on here and IRL.

I'd also encourage posting of anything positive about her on here (any memories, moments, pictures). I loved this side of her and want the community to remember her. It's awesome to me that I see her username come up as recently as just a few months ago.

If you'd like more information feel free to PM me on here. For obvious reasons I'm not going to link to social media or her memorial page but I'm happy to share it privately. She leaves behind myself and her 3 children (now teenagers) whom I am going to raise (as was her wishes).

While this is a tough thing to go through I have the mindset that as long as she is always in someones throughs, she is still here with us.

Thank you.

Man I am very sorry to hear that. She is big medicine where this place is concerned and I am certain she had the same positive affect on people in her real life for which we are all thankful.

She was good and I liked her very much.

I am very sorry to read this. My condolences. :rose:

My condolences. I recognize the name, interacted with her a few times sporadically.

So heartbreaking, a big hug to you and yours. :rose:

Oh no Such sad news. I am so sorry for your loss and to the children

I really liked rubyfruit and have thought fondly of her when I was away from lit for an extended time. If I see someone wearing a bright red lipstick or beautiful bold coloured dresses I think of her. I know she was smart, kind, exciting, sensual and generous of nature and spirit. :rose::rose::rose:

RubyFruit made this place so much better during her time posting here. This is very sad news.

I didn't know her, but she sounds like she was wonderful. I'm very sorry for your loss. :rose:

I don't recall her, she may have been before my time in the GB, but any loss is tragic and my thoughts go out to you and yours.

Very sorry to hear this. She was before my time but I know others spoke very highly of her. :rose:

Im so sorry to hear this. I didn't know her but have heard wonderful stories of her. My deepest condolences. :rose:

I am so terribly sorry to hear and condolences to you and her children. Just heartbreaking especially at this time of year.

She was one of the posters I liked most when I lurked the board for a couple of years before joining.

I adored her. Absolutely adored her.

Thank you for thinking of us, and allowing us the joy, amidst our sadness, of knowing that she spent her last days in happiness.

She was sexy and funny and uplifting. I envy the time you spent with her. If words from me can help at all, please pretend I'm eloquent enough to have said them.

I guess the world just won't be as good anymore.

Oh no. I was just thinking about her a few days ago. She was absolutely one of a kind and she had a beautiful spirit. An attractive force of nature, bright and loving towards her friends. She projected sexiness, was frequently irreverant, and smart, as you know.
You must miss her terribly. I'm sorry for your loss.

I did not know her, but more I knew of her and her reputation as a wonderful person. It seems as though the world has lost another beautiful soul before their time. I am so very sorry to hear this. My condolences to you and yours. Especially the children. I hope you all find peace soon.

I never interacted with her but remember the name and from the people that knew her, she seemed like a wonderful lady. My condolences to you and the children she entrusted you to raise. That is the highest praise a parent could give another person. :rose:
