Very interesting Court Case on the Electoral College

The plaintiff either does not know the basis for the establishment of the presidential selection process or is choosing to ignore it. He wants you to believe that the basis was the available technology of the 18th century when in fact it was not. One of the considerations was the potential for fraudulent voting practices and thus subversion of an election by this manner of corruption. The founders considered that the means they contrived was more likely to retain its integrity and produce a more probable outcome to the benefit of the nation and hence the people as individuals.Their thoughts and ideas are eloquently expressed in Federalist No. 68 authored by Alexander Hamilton.

Interesting, although the elecroral college makes more sense to me than a popular election when you have such fradulent prone provisions as "motor-voter". Maybe the census should be an actual inventory, not a combination count-estimate.

How very impertinent of you

What temerity, what unmitigated gall to suggest that politicians should be required to obey the laws their oath of office pledges them to uphold! Just what the fuck is wrong with you? You have the brazen audacity to actually suggest they perform an enumeration as required by the Constitution?

You're never gonna make it in politics with an attitude like that!

Not much. It's difficult to convey in this medium. I was hoping this was obvious enough it would be perceived as TIC.

Did it work? Or did I blow it completely? I sorta hoped the emoticons would help convey the intent.

I've always liked the idea of an electoral college.

Without it, where would we get our electricians?

Thank the goddess I'm in the same boat.....lol.

I hate politics.....I could never be so crooked......

I stopped dating a very attractive attorney cause I couldn't have been a successful politically inclined wife...and I could see that's where he would be going.......lol

I thought it was funny.

This guy" " is rolls eyes (sarcastic), but you were so far over the top I had no trouble getting it without him.

Mine was TIC too.

Point being UncleBill is usually so serious and factual...

It's good to see some cracks occasionally...
