Veroe's idea box

I am working on an idea based off Sparty, Shy, but I haven't decided if I want it to be a group thread or a one on one. It has enough characters and potential angles for a group thread but it feels like it should be a one on one thread to me too.

In other words its giving me two ideas on the same subject and I haven't decided which direction to go yet.

*smiles playfully*
So I am going to have an opposing gladiator thread to compete with? Interesting...

I know what you mean though. It could easily slip into both categories. The idea that sprung to my mind, however, is you could easily do a group thread with a branch-off of a one-on-one thread with the same character you are writing. Particularly if you are writing a role as romantically focused as Spartacus.

I did end up going with a group thread. So many ways to it could go...it should be exciting once it's up and running.

Shy you would have him steal our thread?

Did he offer coin?

Would he desire to loose his cock?

Would you that I part it from his balls under cover of darkness?

Perhaps he too craves to be a gladiator?

*giggles*

(ur did you notice i am in character? *blushes*)

Wait, am I missing something?

And
*Covers his crotch*

Please don't threaten my little brain, while the big brain is still working on the idea to get it in trouble with, Yeishia. Atleast let me figure out the puzzle before my castration:D

*bursts into giggles then casts her gaze back to Veroe, a stern, threatening look radiating from her orbs...*

Yes, Veroe...Where is my coin for 'stealing' my thread idea? :D

*Nods* pulling out her sword both that and her body ready for what may happen next,

Nods now I think I understand. Don't worry about competition girls. I've put the idea on the backburner of my brain, plus I'm leaning towards the group thread angle but I already am in 2 atm which is maximum capacity as far as I'm concerned.

Looks at Shy ignoring him.

Another Luta? can we allow the competition?

Should we part his head from body, perhaps he speaks false?

Eyes stray to his coin.

Jupiter's cock what sacrilege!

*runs off to eat supper giggling her head off.*

I have the swearing down me thinks.

Of course I AM playing a female slave *blushes* oops

*Nods* pulling out her sword both that and her body ready for what may happen next,

*steps slowly towards Yeishia; the delicate pad of her fingertip gliding unflinchingly along the sharpened edge of the sword. Her gaze was calm, focused, strong, beckoning Yeishia to return her gaze.

With a deft flick of her wrist she gently clasps the swords' handle, gently forcing Yeishia to lower the blade's tip*

Shhh....no blood needn't be spilled over something so petty as an idea.

*smiles warmly and kisses her cheek before whispering*

You truly crack me up....you're brilliant.

Veroe...There is no harm feelings. I was just playing. Sorry if my playfulness was misinterpreted. I merely was interested in how you were taking it so I could read it. And who knows...depending on how things work out, we may request your writing brilliance for a fleeting role if you wish to test your literary sword against our gladiator.

*smiles warmly* Sorry again if I came across as rude.

OMG how on earth did I come across!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::rose::rose::rose:

*giggles and grins widely*

As someone as eager to start a gladiator thread as I am!

*takes her hands and runs to their own gladiator planning thread*

We have much to do!

*Waves excitedly goodbye to Veroe before yelling over her shoulder as she runs out*

Sorry for hijacking your idea thread.

The ideas I'm working on are.

a Gladiator thread based loosely off Spartacus Gods of the Arena and Blood and Sand

A scifi space opera/romance, with epic space battles, and perilous alien threats.

and Haran: Champion of the gods. A martial arts meets epic fantasy romance where a warrior trained by the gods to be their emmissary and executioner of their enemies falls in love with one.

Geez I almost forgot a reworking of Vampire Queen's servant where the gender roles are reversed.

:DAs many times as something I wrote in various places here has come across wrong to you. I figure you deserve some grace on the subject, Yeishia.

One thing I've learned it's very easy to rub someone the wrong way, the people worth valuing are the people who forgive you and still like you anyway.

Real Life first. Always. No worries here. I'll look forward to your next post when you get to it.

Maybe if I were to switch the gender roles....I'd be the dom/vampire and my partner would be the submissive/servant....then maybe a thread from Joey Hill's Vampire Queen novel series would have more of a chance...If nothing else the weight of the plot and tone would be more reliant on me since I've read the books...maybe that could work...

Needs to ponder this

knocks softly

Hoping I'm not disturbing...

Those look like good books...which do you recommend I read first?

Hi Zy.

They are good books. The breakdown for the series goes like this.

the actual Vampire Queen books

1.The Vampire Queen's Servant

His blood. His soul. His body. Hers for the asking…

Lady Elyssa Yamato Amaterasu Wentworth is a centuries-old vampire who’s been given a new servant – Jacob, a total alpha male unaccustomed to submitting to any woman’s wishes. What really binds Jacob to her are not her sensual midnight hungers, but something far more provocative. It stirs her blood, renews her life and awakens her soul like only true love can. The passion between Lyssa and Jacob yields something else unexpected – a shared history that reaches back through the centuries and is fated to challenge their destiny like nothing ever will again.

I'd recommend reading this one first. It opens the stage and introduces two of the series two key characters

2.Mark of the Vampire Queen

When he becomes Lady Lyssa’s full servant, Jacob crosses the threshold into a darker relationship with her than he’s known before. His time as a vampire hunter certainly hadn’t prepared him to embrace a world where humans are sexual commodities, but he adapted. Now he finds the integrity of his soul challenged as he serves his Mistress’s needs as fully as he services her desires.

The vampire world believes human servants are inferior, a vital source for their varying appetites. Jacob knows a human servant is far more than that. His Mistress needs a warrior, a friend and a lover. A man who will serve her in all ways, even if he has to betray the priceless treasure of her love.

This is the direct sequel to VQS and I'd recommend only reading this after it.

3. A Vampire's Claim

Lady Daniela has never taken a full human servant. At two hundred years, she’s always put it off, having a bachelor’s attitude toward bonding with another, even an inferior human. However, on her return to her sheep station in Western Australia in 1953, she meets Dev, a war veteran and laconic bushman, who has the talents to help her reclaim her station from her mother’s lover, who usurped her position there forty years before.

But after she takes care of that nasty bit of business, she’s also intending to rid Western Australia of a corrupt Region Master who is 500 years old and therefore over twice her age and strength. While a full human servant, particularly one with Dev’s unique talents, can augment her skills and resources, the more she gets to know him, the more reluctant she is to bind him to her in a way that might get him killed. But Dev has his own thoughts on the matter, and she will soon find it’s easier for a vampire to survive in the desert sun than for her to survive without him by her side.

This is a stand alone novel set in Australia during the 50s and I'd recommend reading this first as well even though it's the third book in series. It follows the origin of the romance of two allies (Danni and Devlin) to Lyssa (the vampire queen) met in the second book but because its set so far back it can be read first without any jarring to anyone reading the entirety of the series.

to be continued
