Lisa yelped when her back hit the bannister and all she could was stand there helplessly as he tied her wrists above her head. She struggled to try and pull them free, but to no avail.
Her house wasn't a large one, and downstairs, off of the hallway there was a living room with a glass coffee table and leather sofa and a kitchen with a marble breakfast bar. It was the living room she knew she had to escape to, as that was the room with the phone in, but at the moment she knew there was little chance.
"Who are you?" The fact the man hadn't spoken was scaring her, was he a mute or just a mad man?
