Verbosity of stories

I had time today, and wondered about how many words I have contributed to Lit.

So, I took the time to find out. I had considered 100,000 words kind of a threshhold. Why, hell, who knows. But had I crossed that line in the stories I had submitted?

Off to Word's "word count" function.

27th story has been submitted, hopefully it will post tomorrow.

And the drum roll........

100,496 words, 1,169,000 plus reads, 25 of 26 with H's, total composite reader score of 4.63.......

This is fun! Didn't know I had it in me..... and I am still a closet writer..........

Authors? I know many, many have more stories than I.

Why do you do it? What makes you toil?

I haven't a clue how any of my cruddy stories are doing in the figures mate, last checked them about 2 months ago, well checked two of them... However I love having them on here cos where else could a simple country boy like me get readership figures most paper published authors would die for

I like creating. It's as simple as that.

I enjoy playing with ideas, putting them together as a plot, peopling it with characters and then finding the words to bring it all to life.

It's a work of love.

I'm a dirty old man and I like to write smutty stories. I also like it when people read them.
