Great pics, Doc. It's been over 40 years since I was in Venice. I'm glad you didn't just show the standard tourist pictures that everyone does when they go there.

My wife used to live in Venice. Once a year we go there to visit friends and enjoy the sedate life for a weekend.

A church spire seen (as was most of Venice that weekend) through a glass of Prosecco.

That 'submerged in liquid' look wouldn't be the least bit disturbing if you were in the Alps.

You really take some great pics S (sorry I recall your old you - lol) I am impressed always with your pics and humour. I am off to London shortly and will remember your walk and try to take some in, but this one pic I partcularly LOVE UP. Why? Because its as if looking into a human/robot and gathering what little life there is ... a phallic symbol? A hole? In a fish jar and at the neck bound by shackles. I could go on and deeper, but I doubt anyone wants to hear it. I do love all your pics, yet this one? MUCHO CREATIVE!

As for the good looking drunk guy? Well, he gets hotter by the minute- apparently LOL.
